ABOUT CEO, FOUNDER
For more than 20 years, L. Nicole Evans, has been dedicated to community strengthening and social impact through her professional and volunteer work. It is with that mission and commitment that she founded EyeAm (formerly ChampEyeam) in 2011, after her graduate studies focusing on community outreach, non-profit programs, and business administration. She is determined to help individuals and families, businesses, and foundations organize, strategize, evaluate, and maximize the return of impact in philanthropic initiatives.
Nicole has worked with private foundations, corporations, local governments, nonprofit organizations, associations, and schools to find pragmatic solutions to human problems. She has served as President for the Urban League of Portland Young Professionals Association, where membership, volunteer engagement, and fundraising increased tenfold during her term. She has also served in multiple government commissioned committees as well as worked closely with elected officials to enhance community outreach initiatives.
Nicole is certified in Public Involvement, holds a B.A. from Howard University in Philosophy and received her Master’s in Social Work from University of Southern California. When she is not working closely with clients on master plans, she enjoys family activities with her husband and two toddlers.
